Is the Free plan actually free?

The free plan gives you 5 AI uses per day, access to all PDF tools, Smart Notes, and the Reference Generator — no credit card needed to start.

What counts as an AI use?

One AI use = one generation from any AI-powered tool. Non-AI tools (PDF operations, Smart Notes, Submission Checklist, Reference Generator) are always free and unlimited — they never count toward your daily limit.

What's the difference between Student and Student Pro?

Student gives you 40 AI uses per day — more than enough for a solid study session. Student Pro removes the cap entirely — no daily limit at all. Pro is for students who use Genesis across multiple subjects every day.

Can I get a 24-hour pass instead of subscribing?

Yes — when you hit your daily limit, a Day Pass option appears automatically. For $1.49 you get 50 AI uses valid for 24 hours. It's designed for assignment crunch time when you need more uses right now.
